Summer Rallies
So I’m interested in doing a few 2 or 3 rallies this summer. Because I’m so new to cycling, I’d rather be very cautious about the ones I choose. Since I’m fat and slow, I will probably only do the rallies that have 20-30 mile runs or so. So I’m thinking about these few rallies, wondering what you think:

Damn You, Weather!
Took a trip to Lubbock, Texas to see my cousin get married and decided it would awesome to take my bike and ride around my old alma mater—Texas Tech University. Psyched about the ride, I bundled up everything I needed and headed out. Friday was a steamy 94 degrees F so I felt good about Saturday’s morning ride.

When Foliage Attacks!
I should have gotten this up sooner, but I’m lazy (maybe that’s part of the weight issue…hmmm.). A buddy and I went riding Friday from work. Being the pillars of the working establishment we are, we put in enough hours on Friday to get out of there early!
Shooting the deuces to the office, we hit one of the more popular trails in this area. It’s a nice ride around a city...
