Day One...Weight Watchers

So why have I been so silent the past few months? Well it turns out my left knee has decided to kill any physical activity I was planning. Since October I’ve been in physical therapy, had a cortisone shot, and finally arthroscopic knee surgery. So I’ve been pretty sedentary for the past few months. No riding, no posting.
Well since this is my chronicle of my weight loss on my bicycle, weight loss being the main driver here, I will add that I have today started Weight Watchers. Yup, one day someone will be calling my phone to be their cheesy spokesman for their amazing product…maybe not. But I will say that this is another step in loosing the weight.
We will see what happens and if I can keep it up. I’m going to try but I’ve never been very successful in sticking to diet plans…I love the food. So I’m starting with what sounds like some wicked high points. I have 40 daily points. Sounds high, but maybe that’s a good thing. It won’t starve me like most of the other diet things I’ve done…or make me remember to “do this, this and this”. I basically log the points, if I get too high I slow it down.
So here’s day one of the tests and trials.
